Our Philosophy
Our yoga is designed to give you the opportunity to tune IN to your mind, body, and breath and to create space for you to cultivate your own well-being. When you show up to one of our online classes, you can take cues from your instructor, or do your own thing (savasana for an hour is TOTALLY yoga!).
What guides us:
Feel-good movement
Encouraging curiosity and playfulness, and even challenge when you’re up for it!
Honoring yoga’s roots, staying humble, listening and learning
Our Teachers
Stephanie Cruse, Owner of Transitions, E-RYT 200, RPYT, MA
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2014 and for me, yoga is a space to be curious and be challenged about how I show up and interact with myself, others, and the world. My sincere hope is to create a safe space for you to be playful and curious, and for you to leave feeling better than when you came in. I love offering unique sequences and fantastic playlists in my classes. My #1 rule is yoga should not be yucky, so I’ll encourage you to listen to what your body is telling you every single time you come to the mat, and challenge you to keep showing up for yourself.
I specialize in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga and am an Integrative Health & Wellness Coach. Some things I can’t live without are coffee, my kids (this is sometimes debatable), queso, being by the water, and stargazing.
Allie Malis
Allie believes that YOU are your best teacher; on the mat you will always be encouraged to tune into the subtle cues that your own body is sending you. Her approach to teaching can be described as alignment-focused and breath-oriented. Creative sequencing and flowing transitions create a space to have fun on the mat, and modifications and variations are always an option. Allie encourages you to explore, build, and challenge your strength (optional!) but always follows up with feel-good counterposes and stretches. No matter whether you practice to greet the sun or to wind down your day, she hopes to send you on your way with a clear head and good mood. Allie completed her 200-level teacher training with Tranquil Space in 2016.
When Allie is not in yoga pants (which is not often!) you can find her camping, hiking, and rock climbing in the Red River Gorge (okay, she might still be in yoga pants…) She loves to travel anywhere and everywhere – from U.S. national parks to the far reaches of the globe. Wherever she goes, she is always on the hunt for the best vegan eats. In her virtual classes, you may see a cameo from her furry four-legged assistant, Piper, or catch a few foster kittens climbing up her tree pose. Allie is a flight attendant for a major airline and proudly represents her flight attendant union on Capitol Hill.
